Dining Room Set (reveal)

In an earlier post, I showed you a table I found for my nonexistent dining room. But a dining room table is no use without chairs. So it sat for a bit without being used.
It took awhile, but I was able to round up four chairs.  Two from my soon-to-be-mother-in-law, one from Goodwill, and another from a thrifting round-up you can see here.
Here is what I came up with. Tell me what you think!

I know this has been done before -- mismatched chairs and all.  But I don’t care. I love how it turned out!
The chairs are personalized a bit with numbers.

This table is perfect.

And I did absolutely NOTHING to it.

On another note -- It feels good to be posting again.  Over the last few months I’ve been focusing mainly on school.  I cannot wait until I’m done in a few more months! BUT until then, there will be more regular posts going on at The Junk Nest – I promise! I have a lot of projects lined up – yay!
See you again soon!

  4. Your chairs are great. I swear that your table is one I sold to a dealer about 15 years ago. It looks identical. I sold it because it did not fit in our tiny dining room. We later knocked out a wall and I wish I still had the table because now it would work. The table was found in my grandmother's basement where she used it to fold laundry.

    1. Oh wow...you know, it's a small world and anything is possible. I got the table from a thrift store here in Wisconsin. So who knows where it came from. I just know that it was buried amongst several other chairs and knick-knacks. I was on my way out of the store when it caught my eye somehow. I had to have it.

      Thanks for stopping by!!

    1. I know...I don't think I'll ever buy a matching dining room set or anything ever again. Plus it was a fraction of the cost lol.
